What is Mission Green Bangladesh?

"Mission Green Bangladesh" by Healthy Living BD aims to plant 10 million trees and conduct 100 tree plantation campaigns by 2024 to promote environmental awareness and eco-friendly living.

Why Mission Green Bangladesh?

Healthy Living BD started the "Mission Green Bangladesh" project by planting 10 trees at the University of Dhaka on March 26, 2024, to help protect Bangladesh from climate change impacts and natural disasters.

Project Goal

The mission of planting over 10 million trees aims to combat climate change, enhance disaster resilience, create a cleaner environment, preserve biodiversity, and stimulate economic development for a sustainable future.

How You Can Help

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Make a conscious effort to minimize waste and recycle materials to reduce your carbon footprint. We promote the effort.

Conserve Energy

Opt for energy-efficient appliances, switch to LED lighting, and reduce unnecessary energy consumption.

Choose Sustainable Transportation

Walk, bike, or use public transportation whenever possible to reduce greenhouse gas emissions

Support Renewable Energy

Plant Trees

Participate in tree-planting initiatives and support reforestation efforts to combat deforestation and promote carbon absorption.

Advocate for Change

Join climate action organizations, attend rallies, and engage in conversations to raise awareness and push for policy changes.

Spreading the word

Promoting through flyers, banners, fairs, plays, videos, cultural events, and various advertising platforms.

Training Session

Offering guidance on how to pick and prep sites, select the right seedlings, plant them, and look after them properly.

Giving continuous tips on how to grow and care for trees

Tree Plantation

Landholders take the lead in planting trees.

Regular Checks

Keeping an eye on the trees regularly to make sure they're growing as they should, based on the agreement.

Financial Help

Mission Green Bangladesh supports the tree planters financially for planting and looking after the trees.

Green Ambassador Network

Mission Green Bangladesh operates a Green Ambassador Network across the country with the following responsibilities:

Promoting environmental awareness and conservation practices among local communities.

Organizing tree plantation drives and other green initiatives in their respective areas.

Advocating for sustainable development policies and practices at local and regional levels.

Facilitating educational workshops and seminars on environmental issues.

Collaborating with government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to address environmental challenges and promote green solutions.
